Hockey Midgets Fight: thanks Gary Bettman!
Thanks to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman for encouraging fighting in hockey. While the brawl (Ontario East vs West Midget All Stars AA) was entertaining to watch, recent events prove that fighting in hockey has Jumped the Shark. As long as Gary keeps saying that 'quite frankly, fighting is a part of the game', then minor hockey players will try to copy their NHL heroes. You would think that TSN's Nick Kpreos whose career was ended by a fight and who has kids in minor hockey would take the lead to fix the sport.
